Apprentice Electrician

Qualifications
  • Assist the Electrician with measuring, bending, cutting and threading electrical cable systems and raceways

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee may require the ability to do the following:

  • Lift 50 lbs from ground and pull 50 lbs of force

  • Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires

Journeyman Electrician

The ideal candidate is growth oriented, able to read blueprints, understand special systems and able to terminate service sections, distribution centers, panel boards, transformers and able to disconnect motor controls.

  • Completion of all installations per all current electrical codes
Qualifications
  • Must be able to install PVC, EMT, RIGID, FLEX, MC
  • Must be able to trim out devices
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

A Superintendent is able to work through their people to complete projects on time, on budget while maintaining company safety standards. This individual has mastered Journeyman level work and is able to communicate their vision to the team. The ideal candidate leads proactively, has a strong understanding of all planning materials and adheres to all NEC, state and local codes.

VDC Engineer

The VDC Engineer supports the Project Manager and the Superintendent. The VDC Engineer works with the Design Manager, Field Engineers, Office Engineers and Project Engineers as a resource and in a support function and is responsible for model management and is the primary liaison for BIM coordination between the design team, the engineering team, the specialty trades and operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with VDC resources, including software, hardware and personnel.
  • Familiarity with Corporate VDC resources and processes.
  • Coordination with IT personnel and familiarity with IT systems and processes.
  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents in office and field related VDC activities.
  • Support on-site training.
  • Working knowledge of VDC software and hardware systems, processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project team VDC uses and contractual deliverables.
  • Development of project VDC Project Execution Plans and project VDC implementation strategies in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  • Management and coordination of Architectural, MEP FP, structural, civil, specialty and site components of the model.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with modeling software – Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or SketchUp preferred
  • Proficiency with coordination software – Navisworks preferred
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and structural construction documents
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity for learning new things
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
